Account Deletion
You can delete your HerCircle account at any time. Deletion removes all your personal data, circle memberships, location history, and safety records from our servers.
In-App Deletion (Recommended)
- Open the HerCircle app and sign in.
- Tap the Profile icon in the bottom navigation bar.
- Tap Settings (gear icon, top right).
- Scroll to the Account section.
- Tap Delete Account.
- Read the confirmation screen listing what will be deleted.
- Tap Confirm Delete to proceed.
Your account will begin the deletion process immediately.
Delete by Email Request
If you cannot access the app, you can request deletion by email.
Send a message to support@ingeniousdigital.com with:
- Subject line: Account Deletion Request
- The email address associated with your HerCircle account
- A brief statement that you want your account and data deleted
We will process your request within 30 days and confirm by email when complete.

What May Be Temporarily Retained
Anonymized safety audit records — retained for up to 30 days.
When an SOS alert has been resolved, an anonymized record may be kept for up to 30 days as a safety audit trail. This record contains no name, email address, phone number, or any other information that identifies you. After 30 days, it is permanently and irreversibly deleted.
This brief retention exists because SOS alerts may involve emergency responders or third parties who need a short window for incident review.
No other data is retained after your account is deleted.
