HerCircle is a personal safety app built for women. It lets you share your real-time location with a trusted circle of people during journeys, check-ins, and emergencies — and alerts them when something feels wrong.

Trusted Circles — Add the people you trust most. They see your location only when you’re actively using a safety feature — never passively in the background.

Live Journeys — Start a journey and your circle tracks your route in real time. Location updates every 10 seconds, with battery level shared so they know if your phone might go offline.

SOS Alerts — Trigger an emergency alert and your location streams to every circle member instantly. They get push notifications and can follow your position as it updates.

Panic Codes — Signal distress discreetly. Enter a panic code instead of your regular PIN to silently trigger an alert without tipping off someone who may be watching.

Check-Ins — Drop a location pin with optional mood and tags to let your circle know you’re safe, without starting a full journey.

No Passwords — Authentication uses email one-time passcodes only. Nothing to remember, nothing to steal.

Row Level Security — Every database table is protected by RLS policies. Location data is shared through security-definer functions that validate circle membership before returning anything.
